Proof in Practice: The Power of Consistency Across Classrooms

Thursday, July 30, 2026
11:00 a.m. Pacific | 2:00 p.m. Eastern

Join the Second Step® team for a candid conversation with a Washington-based school leader about what implementation data can reveal about the impact of human skills instruction. We’ll discuss how the review of lesson completion data and student behavior data uncovered a clear pattern with a local district: classrooms that consistently taught human skills lessons experienced fewer behavior challenges.

If you’re focused on improving school climate, reducing disruptions, or increasing the impact of your human skills instruction, this session is designed for you. Rather than focusing on theory, this discussion will explore practical strategies for:

  • Creating consistency across classrooms
  • Building stronger staff buy-in
  • Keeping implementation on track
  • Using data to sustain momentum

Participants will leave with ideas for tracking implementation, celebrating successes, and fostering a culture where human skills are seen as essential, not additional.
