Are you coordinating or leading a Second Step® social-emotional learning (SEL) program implementation at your school? This page contains a collection of resources designed for site leaders.
Many of the resources linked on this page are available to you in the Second Step programs. You’ll need to be a registered program user and be logged into your account to access the resources through the following links. If you get a message saying, “Sorry, you are not authorized to view this page,” it means you’re not a registered user of that program.

There’s an abundance of material embedded in your program kits. The following links and suggestions will help you find it. To access most materials, you’ll need to be logged in and have previously activated your online resources with your Activation Key.
Second Step® Early Learning
Staff training is provided as a slide presentation, including embedded videos. There are two options: one for providing training in a group (with full scripting and notes) and the other for self-guided training. The following are direct links to videos contained in the training.

Second Step® Elementary Classroom Kits
This Program Roll-Out Decision Guide is designed to help you make key decisions about to whom, by whom, and when Second Step Elementary will be taught as you prepare for your school’s implementation.
We provide tools for sitewide implementations.
Staff training is provided to all who use a kit Activation Key. There are three self-guided modules. When staff complete the modules, they’ll receive a certificate.

Second Step® SEL for AdultsLogin Required
If you have the site leader role on your Second Step SEL for Adults license, we encourage you to read the Principal Quick Start materials before inviting your staff, including your Leader Team, to the license.
All Leader Team members have access to the Leader Hub, which has important supports including an implementation checklist, staff presentations for whole-staff meetings, and guidance for implementing multiple Second Step® programs.

Second Step® Bullying Prevention UnitLogin Required
Users will need to either use their kit Activation Key or be assigned to a license to access the Bullying Prevention Unit training. In addition, if site leaders want to track training, users must be assigned to a license even if they’ve already used their Activation Key. If your site doesn’t have a Bullying Prevention Unit training license, please connect with your Education Partnerships Team member or contact support@secondstep.org.
