Supporting Effective Districtwide Implementation

Are you coordinating a districtwide Second Step implementation? If so, the Second Step Leadership Institute is an opportunity for you to learn directly from our experts about systemic implementation strategies and collaborate with peers from around the country. From day one, the dynamic exchange of ideas will generate valuable suggestions you can put to use in your schools. A full year of interactions with a professional learning community dedicated to social-emotional learning will keep you inspired and connected.

Who Should Attend?

The institute is designed to support people who have the very specific role of coordinating a districtwide Second Step implementation. You’ll join colleagues from around the country who also want to learn about districtwide implementation.

What Are the Goals?

  • Learn to create and support a successful, systemic Second Step implementation.
  • Develop, maintain, and benefit from a working professional learning community devoted to sustainable districtwide Second Step implementation.
  • Create, implement, and refine a customized, comprehensive Second Step implementation plan for your district using the tools and templates provided.

What Is the Cost?

  • $695 per person
  • Includes participation in the two-and-a-half-day event in Seattle, institute materials, and activities throughout the year
  • Participants will be responsible for their own travel and accomodation expenses
